“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”

 I love this quote.

It is a beautiful reminder that what we do with this precious life matters. For me, it is also a reminder that our life is not just about the big things but also about all the micro moments and memories that create something extraordinary. The smallest of things is capable of taking our breath away. The challenge is that it is easy to let all those micro moments pass or not notice them at all.

Let me give you an example…

Yesterday I was working when I received a text from my husband Rob. The message was partly practical. It was letting me know that he had ordered something that we needed. Then he went on to say this “I’m loving that every time I move, I can smell your perfume on my jumper from when you kissed me goodbye this morning”.

This was a micro moment in our day but something that took my breath away. Will I remember this in 12 months’ time? I don’t know but I took the time to savour it yesterday within the busyness of the day.

There is another quote that also makes me pay attention but for a totally different reason.

“don’t live the same year, every year and call it a life.”

I fundamentally believe we are all living this life for a purpose and that purpose is as unique as our fingerprint. I also don’t believe that our purpose is linked to one thing or a career.

I have seen so many people tie themselves up in knots because they can’t ‘find their purpose’. The level of frustration they feel in searching for purpose actually pushes their purpose further away in my opinion.

I believe that your purpose is made up of four things:

·      Making a difference/ impact in some way

·      Being authentically you

·      Achieving your potential (we are here to grow and learn)

·      Having FUN.

When you look at purpose through this lens, it becomes much easier to achieve AND it moves you away from just existing to truly living and enjoying those moments that take your breath away.

When you reflect on this year, what year have you had?

Have you had a year where you feel connected to your purpose and has been filled with moments (big or small) that have taken your breath away OR has it felt like a repeat of the year before?

If it has felt filled with breathtaking moments, that is amazing. How are you going to take this momentum into 2025 with you?

If it has felt like a repeat of a year and you have felt stuck in a rut, what are you going to do differently next year? How are you going to break free from the pattern and create more magic?

It might feel like a blend of the two perspectives in which case how are you going to create more space for breathtaking moments in 2025?

Starting on Monday 9th December I am leading Thrive in 2025 – a 12-day empowerment challenge. I am going to be covering a topic each day that will help you shift paradigms so that you can move into 2025 feeling amazing and ready to create breathtaking moment after breathtaking moment.

Each day you will receive an email that is based on my unique H4 coaching model to help you make powerful shifts ahead of the New Year. I mean why wait until the 1st of January?

You will receive a daily email with a wisdom drop and then a prompt aligned to your:

Head – what mindset do you need?

Heart – how do you need to harness your emotional intelligence

Higher Self – how do you deepen your thinking by tapping into your own wisdom

Hands – A micro action to move you forward.

I have designed this so that it is not time intensive but so it will help you make transformational changes to how you move into the power of a New Year.

I know that there is a year (and life) of breathtaking moments just waiting for you.
